A-PVP (also known as Alpha-PVP and α-Pyrrolidinopentiophenone) is a novel synthetic stimulant drug of the cathinone chemical class. It is sometimes called flakka. α-PVP is chemically related to MDPV, hexen, and a-PHP.
A-PVPÂ produces powerful but short-lived stimulant effects comparable to those of methamphetamine and cocaine when insufflated or vaporized.
